Mix Interior

Mix Interior is a unique color forecasting book created specifically to meet the changing demands of the interior design industry, offering a wide range of features in one comprehensive package. Mix Interior guarantees an informed perspective across all product sectors by drawing on the expertise of an independent panel of international colorists and designers 24 months ahead of season. It combines creative inspiration with commercial information, presenting color palettes for the season, texture and pattern directions, dominant colors for individual product sectors and a guide to commercial color combinations.

Mix Interior is divided into five chapters. The first chapter features a short SEASONAL STATEMENT, which gives a general overview of the concepts and inspirations for the season. Each of the following four chapters is dedicated to a key color story. Each color story starts with text that reflects the essence of the theme across all interior sectors, is illustrated with inspirational imagery and features a moveable strip containing hand-mixed paint chips – larger paint chips in color-fan format are found on the inside front cover. The next two sections, spread over eight pages, are under the headings COLOUR & LIGHT and MATERIAL & STRUCTURE, featuring original, specifically commissioned photography, showing you how to use the colors within the story and indicating what type of end uses these colors should be applied to – textures, surfaces, textiles, patterns, lighting and products. Each chapter concludes with two pages solely devoted to COLOUR HARMONIES, showing which colors should be mixed together and in what proportion.

Residential/Contract & Industrial Concepts is published twice a year: Spring/Summer in December & Fall/Winter in June.
